June Greetings, Dearies!
The Solstice has passed, and we are sliding into slightly shorter days. It’s hot here in my little town. We’re in the midst of a one-day heat advisory. I’m sitting as still as possible in as few clothes as I can wear and still consider myself dressed. Only my fingers are moving.
The seasons here are still new to me. My system loves the shifts and changes, but hasn’t quite figured out the WHEN of things. Spring seems slow to arrive and quick to pass, and summer, while gentler than it was in my southern home, when it really lands, lands hard. Then the seasons change again.
Shed.
Shift.
Transform. Over and over again.
Like summer, I feel like I’ve really landed here in Island Falls. Three winters have passed, and it is finally real. We LIVE here. I LIVE here. My roots are sinking and winding in this soil. I don’t know why it took 3 winters exactly, but since 3 is a sacred number, I’m happy to embrace it.
Embracing this place as home, rooting down, means reaching out. I am finally ready to begin weaving my threads into this part of the great tapestry.
I began by offering the 5-day workshop Sacred Flame at Sewall House in Island Falls at the end of May, and I’m teaching Yin Yoga on Friday afternoons at Sewall through the summer. Most exciting of all, I’ve just begun a collaboration with Katahdin Children and Families Foundation. I’ll be offering a variety of yoga and art workshops for adults and children throughout the summer and early fall.
Other things are simmering in the magic cauldron. I’ll fill you in as they manifest.
While I weave my threads into the tapestry of this place, I’m committed to continued weaving with you, wherever you may be in the world. I’m driven to co-creating sacred circles…through yoga, breathwork, myth and story, and intuitive, playful creativity. I hope you’ll join me sometime.
Here’s a current list of offerings:
The Circle of Curious Scribes is a small community of women committed to curiously witnessing and recording the tiny and gigantic, magical and mundane happenings in their small parcels of the natural world. We meet together 8 times a year via Zoom to share the magic and wonder we’ve discovered. Our next call is tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 8pm Eastern (US/Canada). If you’d like to join us for this call, or if you’re interested in joining the Circle but are unable to join this call, please email me at falki@falconandacorn.com. I will send along the pertinent information.
The Summer Yin Yoga Series begins this Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 8:00am Eastern (US/Canada) via Zoom. No prior experience is required. If the summer series doesn’t fit your schedule, you can also sign up for drop-in sessions beginning in July.
The next Women’s Healing and Sharing Circle is also this Saturday. We’ll gather via Zoom at 4:00pm Eastern (US/Canada) to witness one another and BREATHE! These Circles are small, intimate, and open to women only. We join together 8 times a year to share, witness, and heal in community.
As always, I am available for individual Creative Intuitive Coaching sessions, Soul Healing work, Breathwork, and Rune Readings and Intuitive Guidance. I also offer individual, couple, and small group yoga classes and therapeutic yoga services online and in person.*
As the days slowly begin to shorten and the heat rises in the Northern Hemisphere, I wish you love, playfulness, and joy. May we all know compassion, and may we weave a tapestry of peace and connection in this chaotic world.
Xxoo,
Fálki
